Where it comes from
Petitgrain oil is steam-distilled from the leaves, twigs and unripe green fruits of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium). Although native to Southeast Asia, the highest-quality oil for perfumery and cosmetics is traditionally produced in France, Italy and Paraguay.
