Where it comes from
Rosa Damascena Flower Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh petals of the damask rose (Rosa damascena), a thorny shrub cultivated mainly in Bulgaria, Turkey and Morocco. It takes approximately 3,000–4,000 kilograms of hand-picked rose petals to produce just one kilogram of this precious essential oil.
