Where it comes from

Mandarin comes from the peel of the fruit of Citrus reticulata, a small citrus tree native to Southeast Asia and widely cultivated in Mediterranean and subtropical regions. The essential oil is typically obtained by cold-pressing the colourful outer rind of the ripe mandarin oranges.
