Where it comes from
Copernicia Cerifera Wax is obtained from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera palm, commonly known as the carnauba palm, which grows in the north-eastern regions of Brazil. The wax is harvested by beating and collecting the powdery coating from mature leaves before it is refined into the hard, yellowish flakes used in cosmetics.
