Where it comes from

Almond comes from the seeds (kernels) of the almond tree (Prunus dulcis), a small deciduous tree native to the Middle East and South Asia but now widely cultivated in Mediterranean climates. In beauty products the sweet variety is used almost exclusively for its mild scent and skin-friendly profile.
