Och hen I finally treated myself to this Clarins Body Care Set when my hands were pure scabby from the freezing Glasgow rain and endless hand washes. The Hand and Nail Treatment Cream jumped out at me cos my cuticles were a mess and the wee scrub and rich lotion promised to sort the rest of my dry skin without any fancy salon pish.
At £75.99 it's a proper outlay but it's sitting at #3 in nail treatments with a 4.8 rating so I thought fuck it let's give it a proper go. As your best mate who's had one too many wines I'm spilling the truth no fluff just what actually happened in my chaotic routine.
Texture and first impressions
The body scrub's got a gritty but kind texture that buffs away the rough bits without feeling like sandpaper on a hangover. The rich lotion is thick and lush while the hand and nail cream is creamy yet sinks in quick leaving no greasy film on my mitts.
First impressions in my tiny bathroom? It felt like a right wee luxury without the pretension. Smelled fancy but not overpowering and I was dead impressed how soft everything felt straight away even on my work-worn skin.
Wear and day-to-day use
Used it daily through pissing wet UK weather and the nail treatment kept my hands nourished and cuticles smoother even after scrubbing pots or typing all day. The lotion gave a nice glow that lasted and the scrub prepped my skin so the moisture actually stuck around.

Seventy six quid is steep compared to Boots own brand but the set feels like proper quality and the sizes work well for travel or testing the waters. It's a brilliant gift or treat when you've earned some self-care and that 4.8 rating backs it up.
Suits busy mates with dry hands from Scottish winters constant washing or office life. If you're anti-faff but want a simple at-home pamper that delivers softness and glow without the bullshit this trio is for you and your community of knackered lassies.
