Listen hen, after a couple wines too many I grabbed this L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect BB Cream that's #1 in bb cream on the site. At £14.95 on Amazon with 4.5 stars from 594 reviews I thought fuck it, let's see if this all-in-one actually works on my Scottish mug instead of the usual Boots nonsense.
It promises corrects, cares and protects with SPF 50, light formula and vitamin B3 for a natural look. Tested it proper through Glasgow drizzle, morning rushes and my chaotic routine - no marketing fluff, just what this working lass really thinks.
Texture and first impressions
The texture is light as fuck, like a decent moisturiser with a tint rather than heavy foundation. Blends easy with fingers or my makeup brushes, builds without caking and doesn't sit in my lines. First squeeze had me proper surprised - sunk in quick on my pale skin with zero greasy feel.
No pretentious bullshit here, it just feels nice straight away. Even after a few glasses the night before it didn't emphasise dry patches like some do in our shite weather. Aye, first impressions were solid.
